Product Description

 

Thermal Conductive Silicone Sheet is an elastic thermal interface material made of silicone polymer as the matrix and composite thermal conductive fillers through blending, filling or coating processes. Its thermal conductivity is based on the synergistic mechanism of phonon conduction and filler network. By controlling the particle size distribution and filling amount of ceramic particles such as aluminum oxide, boron nitride, aluminum nitride or graphene nanosheets, the thermal conductivity gradient can be controlled to meet the long-term reliability requirements of LED lighting, power modules, communication base stations and other scenarios.

Ultra-high thermal conductivity
Thermal Conductive Silicone Sheet has a high thermal conductivity of 8W/m·K, which is far higher than ordinary thermal conductive materials. Its thermal conductivity is achieved by advanced material formula and unique manufacturing process. In terms of formula, a high-purity silicone base material is selected, and high thermal conductive fillers with specific proportions and particle sizes, such as aluminum nitride and aluminum oxide, are added. These fillers form an effective thermal conductive network in the silicone matrix, greatly reducing thermal resistance. In terms of manufacturing process, special mixing and calendering technology is used to evenly disperse the fillers in the silicone to ensure the consistency of thermal conductivity. During the operation of electronic equipment, it can quickly transfer the heat generated by the heating element to the heat dissipation device, effectively reducing the temperature of the element. Compared with traditional thermal conductive materials, it can reduce the operating temperature of the element by 5-10℃, improving the stability and service life of the electronic equipment.

 

Excellent resilience
Thermal Conductive Silicone Sheet has excellent resilience, and its resilience rate can reach more than 90%. This feature is mainly due to the molecular structure and cross-linking density of the silicone material. A certain cross-linking structure is formed between the silicone molecular chains, so that it can quickly return to its original shape after being deformed by pressure. During the long-term use of electronic equipment, thermally conductive silicone sheets will be subjected to repeated pressure due to factors such as temperature changes and mechanical vibrations. The excellent resilience of this product ensures that it can still fit closely to electronic components and heat dissipation devices after long-term use, and will not cause the thermal conductivity to decrease due to deformation. After 1000 cycles of compression testing, its thermal conductivity only decreased by about 3%, which can provide long-lasting and stable thermal conductivity for electronic equipment.

 

Good moisture resistance
The thermally conductive silicone sheet has good moisture resistance and a water absorption rate of less than 0.5%. This is because the silicone material itself is hydrophobic, and a special moisture-proof agent is added during the production process. The methyl group in the silicone molecular structure has a hydrophobic effect and can prevent the penetration of water molecules. The addition of moisture-proof agent further enhances its moisture resistance and forms a protective film on the surface of the material to prevent moisture from entering. In a humid environment, moisture may cause problems such as short circuits and corrosion of electronic components, affecting the normal operation of the equipment. The low water absorption of the thermally conductive silicone sheet can effectively resist the erosion of humid environment, maintain the stability of its electrical performance and thermal conductivity, and ensure that electronic equipment can work reliably in various harsh environments.

 

Excellent tear resistance
Thermal Conductive Silicone Sheet has excellent tear resistance, and its tear strength can reach more than 15kN/m. This performance is achieved thanks to the formulation optimization and enhancement of silicone materials. High-strength fiber reinforcement materials such as glass fiber and aramid fiber are added to the formula. These fibers form a three-dimensional network structure in the silicone matrix, which greatly improves the material's tear resistance. At the same time, by optimizing the vulcanization process, a good combination is formed between the silicone molecules and the fiber reinforcement materials, further enhancing the overall strength of the material. During the installation of electronic equipment, the thermally conductive silicone sheet may be subjected to external forces such as stretching and bending. The excellent tear resistance can ensure that it will not break easily during the installation process, ensuring the reliability of the installation and the stability of the thermal conductivity effect.
