Product Description
Conductive Silicone Gasket is an elastomeric composite material based on silicone rubber and prepared by adding conductive fillers. Its conductive mechanism is based on percolation theory. When the concentration of conductive fillers exceeds the critical threshold, a continuous conductive network is formed to achieve isotropic or anisotropic conductive properties. This product is formed by a compression molding process and can be made into plates, molded products or flat gaskets of different thicknesses and shapes. The core material system includes conductive particles such as glass silver plating, aluminum silver plating, copper silver plating, carbon black, pure silver, and graphite nickel plating. Among them, glass silver plating fillers have both cost-effectiveness and conductive properties, and are suitable for communication equipment and ordinary military scenarios; aluminum silver plating fillers are often used in marine environment electronic equipment because of their electrochemical compatibility with aluminum chassis and excellent salt spray resistance; copper silver plating fillers are the preferred material for waveguide connector gaskets due to their EMP impact resistance.
